The wide, sweeping slopes are particularly suitable for beginners and families due to their varying degrees of difficulty. Advanced skiers and professionals can enjoy the eight kilometers of black ski slopes, including the famous “Kärnten – Franz Klammer” world cup run.
Carefree skiing holidays
If you do not arrive with your own skis, you can borrow everything from skis and snowboards to boots, helmets and sticks in the local rental shops. You are welcome to inform the rent shops in advance about your arrival and the desired ski equipment, then everything will be ready for you when you arrive. The competent staff is available to answer any questions you may have. Nothing stands in the way of an enjoyable holiday on the slopes of the ski region!

With the fresh air in the Carinthian Nock Mountains, the radiant sun and the wonderful powder snow, hunger won’t be long in coming: 23 rustic huts in the ski area that pamper you with regional delicacies ensure very special moments of sunshine. Located directly on the piste, their sun terraces invite you to stop for a break and provide a pleasant refreshment – panoramic view included. Bad Kleinkirchheim is not one of the best ski areas in Austria for nothing!

The Römerbad thermal baths particularly impress with its spacious wellness oasis with a sauna world that extends over three levels and 12,000 square meters. The offer at each level is determined by its own topic. The lowest level, “Romanum”, is reminiscent of ancient Rome, where sauna art was celebrated even back then. With the raw, fragrant logs, the “Noricum” builds a bridge from the interior to the surrounding Nock Mountains. On the third level, “Maximum”, you can take a deep breath, lean back and enjoy the saunas with a wonderful view.
St. Kathrein Therme
Under the motto dive in, dive in, emerge, the St. Kathrein family and health spa invites you to breathe a sigh of relief and relax. Since the St. Kathrein thermal baths have the largest water surface of all Carinthian thermal baths, you can swim your laps in the sports pool without any worries. The possibility exists both in the indoor and in the outdoor pool. Then you can pamper yourself with a massage or beauty treatment.
